Together We Make A Difference, Pt. 5

As I look at the first church, I sometimes wonder whether I am reading bad news or good news. As you are going to see today, what appears to be a bad thing, really is a good thing. In chapter 5, we are going to see Holy Spirit moving dynamically in the church, they are fighting fire with fire, and amazing things happen! I ask this question – what has made believers so bold over the last 2000 years? What has given pastors the power to stand up when they are told to “sit down?” Why do believers speak up when they were told to “shut-up?” Why do tortured believers still burn with love? Chapter 5 helps us answer that question.
