Salvation Steps
The ABC's to New Life

The apostle Paul tells us what the gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ: “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and He was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4)

A)   Admit to God that you are a sinner. Repent, turn away from your sin and turn to God.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

By God’s perfect standard we are guilty of sin and therefore subject to the punishment for sin, which is separation from God. Admitting that you are a sinner and separated from God is the first step of repentance, which is turning from sin and self and turning toward God. Repentance means a change in life. Instead of walking way from God with all your sins in hand, now you are walking with God and you are set free from your sins.

B)   Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son and accept God's gift of forgiveness from sin.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

“God demonstrates His love for us in this: While were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

The great news is that, through God’s love, He offers all of us salvation. Although we have done nothing to deserve His love and salvation, God provided salvation for all who would repent of their sins and believe in Jesus.

C)   Confess your sins to God and confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

“That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

Steps To Growing Your Faith
The ABC’s To Start Your Walk In Christ

A)   Ask Questions
We all have questions that need to be asked. Every question is important, and the answers will help strengthen your faith in Christ and the Bible.

B)   Believer’s Baptism
“We were all buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” (Romans 6:4, 11)

C)   Connect To Church
“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25)
