Forever Fortified, Pt. 1

The journey of David’s life, up to this point, has been long, hard, and prosperous. In 2nd Samuel we find David in his late 70’s – and keep in mind that he died at 80 years old. His life of 80 years reveals him to us as a shepherd, a soldier, a singer, and a sinner. What a song for David to end his life with! So what will be our ending song? Bitterness or gratefulness? Will we still be singing praises to God or will our voice just fade away from church because of compromise, callousness, carelessness and complaining?
