Fighters get knocked down and discouraged…but God!

The other day, I was feeling discouraged and downright tired in my current circumstances, but then the Lord whispered to me, "Are you going to fight?"

And right then I felt that quickening in my heart that happens right before I push myself up off the mat, and I reminded myself that the enemy can’t have me! He sure can't control my circumstances! Yes, he does win some rounds, but I am more than a conqueror in Christ!

That’s the fighter's attitude that God has designed me with. That’s the fighter's spirit that keeps me going for God no matter what comes my way. And it’s the attitude that comes from relying on His strength and not my own. And this is true for you too!

I may not know the details of your current battle, but I know that we are all fighting something. So I’m here to encourage you, that you have a choice right here and right now!

God is asking you, "Are you going to fight?" Now is the time to dig down deep and tap into the place where God’s power and authority dwells within you. Now is the time to get up off the mat and show the enemy what you are made of! I am asking you, "Are you going to let him defeat YOU?"

I remind you that you are a child of God! No matter what is going on in front of you, the fact is, it’s time to stand up and show the enemy who you are in Christ! It’s time to tell him, "I'm not taking your hits today!" It’s time to start living out of the victory that Jesus won for you on the cross! Start living from the place of promises and not from the place of perplexity.

Freedom is yours, not for the asking, but for the taking! You have the authority to put the enemy in his place. All you have to do is choose to stand up and stand your ground. And as God reminded Joshua, "As I promised Moses, I promise you, wherever you set your foot, you will be on land that I have given you (Joshua 1:3)."

Stop letting the enemy step on your turf and retake your authority in Christ so you can step into God's destiny for your life!
